- Improving Students’ Writing Report Text Through Peer Response Technique (A Classroom Action Research to the Eleventh Grade of SMA Negeri 1 Tebas in the Academic Year of 2015/2016).This research was carried out in order to improve the students’ writing report through Peer Response Technique to the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 Tebas in the academic year 2015/2016. This research was done by using Classroom Action research (CAR) method. The design of this Classroom Action Research was a Collaborative Classroom Action Research that has been applied in order to solve the problems faced by the students of XI IS 4 of SMA Negeri 1 Tebas. The participants of this research consist of 39 students in which there are 15 males and 24 females. The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. In order to get the data of this research, the researcher used observation technique and measurement. Observation checklist and field note as the tools of the research for collecting qualitative data and written assessment for quantitative data. The result of the research showed that Peer Response Technique can improve students’ achievement in writing report text ability. Based on the finding of qualitative data analysis, the students had increased their interest in learning report text. In quantitative data analysis, most of the students also gradually gained improvement in their scores from first to second cycle. The improvement of students mean scores from 59.74 in first cycle and 71.92 in second cycle.
