The subject of the research is XI studentsSMA Negeri 1 Jatisrono with the population of 30 students. The data explorationtechnique used before and after intervention is done using questionnaire. Theinstrument validity is done in two ways: through expert judgment to test thetheory concept of brainstorming technique along with its measurement instrumentand through empirical validity testing to test the effectiveness of treatment. Theempirical result is analyzed statistically using t-test.The result of the research shows that in general, the self-confidence ofSMA Negeri 1 Jatisrono students is categorized as average. Brainstormingtechnique guide can be classified as feasible since it is already reviewed by bothexperts and practitioners; therefore, the technique guide is the product of thisresearch. The intervention result using statistical analysis results in significance of0.000 &amp;lt; 0.05 which is proved by the significance of mean from 110.70 beforeintervention becomes 114.57 after intervention. Therefore, brainstormingtechnique is effective to improve the self-confidence of XI students of SMANegeri 1 Jatisrono. There is improvement on every aspect of self-confidencethrough statistical analysis that resulting in significance level of 0.000 (aspect 1)and 0.007 (aspect 2), both of which is less than 0.05.
