Method The literature search was carried out through electronic and hand searching methods. The selection of the two studies using the PRISMA method was in accordance with the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then a critical assessment was carried out using criteria from the Oxford Center for Evidence-Based Medicine. Result A study by Nakhooda F., et al. showed that there is an increased risk of hearing loss by 2.15 times in the group of workers exposed to organic solvents and noise (OR = 2.15; (95% CI: 1.24-3.72, p = 0.000). A study by Harmozi M., showed that increased risk of hearing loss of 2.05 times among workers exposed to organic solvents (OR = 2.05; (95% CI: 1.44-2.91, p &lt; 0.001); even with relatively short exposure duration, fairly low solvent concentration and exposure to a mixture of 2-5 solvents. Conclusion and recommendation Both studies showed a statistically significant relationship, but cannot conclude that exposure to organic solvents can increase the risk of hearing loss. Occupational health practitioners are expected to remain aware of the risks of using organic solvents to workers through exposure control. Laporan kasus berbasis bukti ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jawaban yang tepat mengenai interaksi pelarut organik terhadap peningkatan risiko terjadinya penurunan fungsi pendengaran pada pekerja. Metode Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui metode pencarian elektronik dan manual. Pemilihan kedua penelitian menggunakan metode PRISMA sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ditentukan. Kemudian dilakukan penilaian dengan menggunakan kriteria dari Oxford Center for Evidence-Based Medicine. Hasil Studi dari Nakhooda F., dkk. menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan risiko terjadinya penurunan fungsi pendengaran sebesar 2,15 kali pada kelompok pekerja yang terpapar bising dan pelarut organik (OR = 2,15; (95% CI: 1,24-3,72, p = 0,000). Sedangkan studi dari Harmozi M., menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan risiko terjadinya penurunan fungsi pendengaran sebesar 2,05 kali diantara pekerja yang terpapar pelarut organik (OR = 2,05; (95% CI: 1,44-2,91, p &lt; 0,001); bahkan dengan lama paparan yang relatif singkat, konsentrasi yang cukup rendah dan paparan dari campuran 2-5 pelarut organik. Kesimpulan dan saran Kedua penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan secara statistik, namun belum dapat disimpulkan bahwa paparan pelarut organik dapat meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penurunan fungsi pendengaran. Praktisi kesehatan kerja diharapkan tetap mewaspadai risiko penggunaan pelarut organik bagi pekerja melalui pengendalian paparan tersebut.
