- This experimental quantitative research with Pre Post TestOnly Design aims to determine the effect of early initiation of the processinvolution post partum uterine maternal at PKU MuhammadiyahYogyakarta Hospital. The sample of 60 respondents, divided intointervention group (30 respondents) and the non-intervention group(30 respondents). Analysis of data using Mann-Whitney test wasobtained p> 0.05 (p = 1.000), meaning that there is no influence on theprocess of early breastfeeding initiation involution post partum uterineof the mother. The results showed that the group who performed earlybreastfeeding initiation, good uterine involution process as many as 28people (93.3%) and that is not good as much as 2 people (6.7%). Inthe group that did not do early breastfeeding initiation, good uterineinvolution process as many as 25 people (83.3%) and that is not goodas much as 5 people (16.7%).Keyword: early breastfeeding initiation, involution uterine,post partum mothers
