work environment on employee performance in Departement of Labor Bekasi
District. This research is using two independent variables which are job
competency and physical work environment, and one dependent variable which is
employee performance. In relation with employee performance, this research is
concerning on the fact that happen in the departement which are lacks of
competency (technical employee) between employees with similar class in doing
their primary job, lacks of meeting room and insufficient space ordering on doing
job assignment. The condition that happen in the department will make unoptimal
employee performance in order to do the job.
Data in this research is obtained from questionnaire on 41 functional and
sturctural employees in Department of Labor as research sample. The testing
methods used is quantitative analysis which are realibility test, validity test,
classical assumption test, multiple reggression analysis, determinant coefficient, t
test and f test.
Based on the result of data analysis, the result shows that: job competency
have significant and positive influence toward employee performance as well as
have the biggest influence toward employee performance. Physical work
environment variable have significant and positive influence toward employee
