This research is using two independent variables which are job&#xD; competency and physical work environment, and one dependent variable which is&#xD; employee performance. In relation with employee performance, this research is&#xD; concerning on the fact that happen in the departement which are lacks of&#xD; competency (technical employee) between employees with similar class in doing&#xD; their primary job, lacks of meeting room and insufficient space ordering on doing&#xD; job assignment. The condition that happen in the department will make unoptimal&#xD; employee performance in order to do the job.&#xD; Data in this research is obtained from questionnaire on 41 functional and&#xD; sturctural employees in Department of Labor as research sample. The testing&#xD; methods used is quantitative analysis which are realibility test, validity test,&#xD; classical assumption test, multiple reggression analysis, determinant coefficient, t&#xD; test and f test.&#xD; Based on the result of data analysis, the result shows that: job competency&#xD; have significant and positive influence toward employee performance as well as&#xD; have the biggest influence toward employee performance.
