This research type is a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent pretest posttest control group design. The sample used is the students in two classes each schools. Data collected in the form of pretest score and postes score. Data analysis using ancova technique and continued with LSD test that showed RICOSRE learning model significantly influenced the XIth grade students' learning outcomes with a corrected average of cognitive learning outcomes achievement is 26.9%.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RICOSRE (Reading, Identfying problem, Constructing Solution, Solving Problem, Reviewing Problem Solving, and Extending Problem Solving) terhadap hasil belajar kognitif Biologi siswa kelas XI di SMAN 4 dan SMAN 10 Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain non-equivalent pretest posttest control group. Sampel yang digunakan ialah siswa pada masing-masing dua kelas di setiap sekolah. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa skor pretes dan skor postes.
