- Early mobilization for normal post partum mother is very useful to reduce tromboembolisme and to accelerate the mother’s recovery. A correct and appropriate mobilization will make recovery faster. Besides, the circulation system in the body will fuction normally with mobilization on the other hand if the mother are not work properly. The aim of normal post partum mother’s in Sakinah ward in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta in 2008. The method of this research is survey analytic method using cross sectional time approach and sampling is determined using cluster sampling. The subject of this research is normal post partum mother in sakinah ward in PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta in 2008 and the total sample is 30 respondents. The statistical test result using Chi-square showed that there is a positive correlation between early mobilization and pain level of normal post partum mothers in sakinah ward in PKU Muhammmadiyah Hospital, Yogyakarta in 2008. It is shown by the significance level of 0,001. For the next research, it is suggested that the research use observation technique to find out the pain level of the normal post partum mothers.
