dengan analisis kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh IOS
terhadap dividend payout ratio pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa
Efek Indonesia. Sampel pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan
metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan kriteria yang ada, diperoleh 34
perusahaan perbankan yang menjadi sampel penelitian. Metode analisis yang
digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa variabel IOS pengaruh positif terhadap dividend payout ratio
dan free cash flow. Variabel free cash flow berpengaruh positif terhadap dividend
payout ratio.
Kata kunci: Investment Opportunity Set, Free Cash Flow, Dividend Payout
Ratio.

ABSTRACT

This research is a research using descriptive method with quantitative analysis
that aims to analyze the influence of investment opportunity set to dividend payout
ratio with free cash flow as intervening variable in banking companies that listed
in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples of this research are obtained by
using purposive sampling method. Based on the criteria, obtained 34 banking
companies as sample of this research. Analysis method which is used is the
multiple regressions analysis. The results of this study indicate that investment
opportunity set variable has positive effect on dividend payout ratio and free cash
flow. Then free cash flow variable has positive effect on dividend payout ratio.
