KARAKTERISTIK PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS TITI PAPAN KECAMATAN MEDAN DELI TAHUN 2012

Hypertension is caused by many factors, such as smoking, drink alcohol, drink coffee, stress and many more. In Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension ranged from 30.7%. Based on the profile of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office in 2008 which refers to the results Riskesdas 2007 in North Sumatra, from 10 types of non-communicable diseases is known that the prevalence of hypertension was ranked the fourth highest proportion of 5.8%. This study aims to determine how the characteristics of patients with hypertension in the Health Center Titi Papan Deli Medan District in 2012. Type of research is a descriptive study design case series. The samples size in this study were 258 men who comprised 98 (38.0%) men and 160 (62.0%) women. This study uses secondary data collection were obtained from patients with hypertension status card in Titi Health Center Board in 2012. Processing data using SPSS version 15.0 and statistical analysis using Chi Square. From the analysis using a statistical test Chi Square test is obtained there is no significant relationship between sex (p = 0.483) and occupation (p = 0.360) with the degree of hypertension by Chi Square test. While statistical analysis of age, education and place with the degree of hypertension can not be done because there are expected cell count of less than 5. To the community health center to check the blood presure of each patient aged >20 years old, every who go to the community health center. This research aims to improve students of X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar learning achievement by the implementation of Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) technique in cooperative learning model. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR) which is conducted in two cycles, with every cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is the students of X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014. The data was taken from the teacher and the students. The techniques of collecting data are observation, test, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data use content validity, triangulation technique and expert opinion. The analysis of the data use descriptive analysis and critical technique. The result of the research shows that the implementation of Two Tray Two Stray (TSTS) technique in cooperative learning model can improve students’ learning achievement. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve student achievement start from pre-cycle to the first cycle, and from cycle I to cycle II. This is shown by the increased percentage of student activity that is the aspect of asking, answering, and argues that in the first cycle 77,77 % to 80,55 % in the second cycle, the aspects of student interaction within the group of 80,55 % in the first cycle and 83,33 % in the second cycle. The average value students in each cycle also increased , the pre-cycle average value of 64 increased to 74,58 in the first cycle and increased to 82,75 in the second cycle. The conclusions of this research is the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve student achievement class X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. The purpose of this research was to find out (1) the perception of child beggars in begging among Klewer Market Surakarta. (2) the factors that affect children become beggars in Klewer Market Surakarta. (3) the impact of the activities carried out by begging children Klewer Market Surakarta This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to the type of phenomenology. Techniques using purposive sampling and snowball. While data collection techniques performed by in-depth interviews, observation and study documentation passive. To test the validity of using triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. Analysis of the data using the interactive model of data reduction phase, the presentation of the data, drawing conclusions and verification. Considering the result of research: (1) Perception of child beggars begging on three activities. Including child beggars can earn money, can play the sidelines begging activities and child beggars begging activities undertaken to assist their parents. (2) Factors affecting children begging activity there are four. First, because of the favorable earnings begging. Second, is the lifestyle demands that include diet, fashion, and ownership of electronic stuffs. Third, the absence of rules that prohibit beggars around the market. Fourth, the attitude of the security market and traders seemed to allow and accept the existence of beggars who are around the market. (3) The negative impact begging activities undertaken by children is child feel embarrassed or insecure when met with his school friends and activities can lead to child beggars begging to feel addicted. While the positive impact of child beggars are begging for a child can save / set aside income and able to meet the needs of children, such as school needs pocket money, pocket money needs, and the needs of school equipment. Television presents variety of Korean programs such as Korean drama, Korean movie, Korean music events, and many other programs about Korean every day. The most of fans of Korean shows in the television are teens who are school students. The students are excited watching the Korean shows in the television. The Korean television program has success to steal student’s hearts, so students was not enough just watching in the television. The technological sophistication supported by student’s facilities make students more easy to wathing Korean shows. The intensity of watching Korean shows in the television and other media are very high. Watching Korean shows in the televisions and other media being important activity for students, so students don’t want to miss this shows even until forget about their obligation as student, that is studying. The student-fans of Korean program has different behaviours from other students who don’t like Korean programs. Being fans of Korean wave or hallyu also give an impact for students. Thesis, Surakarta : Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. July 2014. This research aimed to increase the learning achievement of Anthropology subject in the XI Language Grade of SMAN 1 Tawangsari Sukoharjo applying Snowball Drilling type learning model. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages such as : planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The first and second cycles discussed the language and dialect. The subject of research was the XI Language of SMAN 1 Tawangsari in the academic year of 2013/2014 consisting of 24 students. The data source derived from teacher and students. Tecniques of collecting data used were observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using descrptive comparative technique of analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be found that the student’s learning achievement in cognitive domain increased. The mean class score obtained was 72.54 in prior action, increasing to 80.21 in cycle I, and to be 82.17 in cycle II. The students learning achievement in affective domain also increased. It was 68.33% in cycle I and increasing to 80.33% in cycle II. Then, the students learning achievement in psychomotor domain also increased; it was 58.33% in cycle I and increasing to 80.83% in cycle II. The conclusion of research was that the application of Snowball Drilling type learning model could increase the Anthropology students learning achievement in the class of XI Language of SMAN 1 Tawangsari in the academic year of 2013/2014. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR) which is conducted in two cycles, with every cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is the students of X-7 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014. The data was taken from the teacher and the students. The techniques of collecting data are observation, test, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data use content validity, triangulation technique and expert opinion. The analysis of the data use descriptive analysis and critical technique. The result of the research shows that the implementation of Jigsaw technique in cooperative learning model can increase students’ learning achievement. Activity concentration of students interaction in group discussion is increasing from 69,44% in cycle I to 88,89% in cycle II. Students learning achievement which is taken from evaluation also increased in every cycle which is followed by the increase of the class mean in which the mean before action is 61,67 become 75,11 after cycle I and increased to be 81,08 in cycle II. The evaluation score of the students increase in every cycle. This followed by the number of students that obtain score above minimum requirement, which is 75, is also increased. The percentage before action is 36,11% and become 66,67% in cycle I and then become 83,33% in cycle II. The conclusion is the implementation of Jigsaw technique in cooperative learning model can increase students’ learning achievement in class X-7 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. The purpose of this study are the improvement of teaching sociology to increase learning achievement of student of sociology in XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar of 2013/2014 academic year through the implementation of cooperative learning type of Quick on the draw. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycles consists of 4 steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. A subject of this research is student of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar consist of 37 students. The colleting data used observation, interview, test and documentation method. Data analysis technique is use three components, they are data reduction, data presentation, and get the conclusions. Result of the research show that through the implementasi of ccoperative learning model of quick on the draw could improve student learning outcomes from pre-action to cycle 1 and from cycle I to cycle 2. It can be seen by an increase in the average grade at pre-actoin of 68,41 mincrease in cycle 1 to 74,38. In the second cycle the average increase from 74,38 or 70,28% to 78,05 or 78,38% of the total number of students is 37 students. The conclusions of the research is implementasi of cooperative learning type of quick on the draw could to increase student achievement in sociology learning class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar of 2013/2014 academic year. oleh -, SETIYORINI -; ABSTRACT This research aimed to improve the learning outcome of sociology subject in the XI IPS (Social Science) 3 Grade of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta by applying greeting sending and problem types of cooperative learning. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of such stages as: planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The first and second cycles discussed the social group material. The subject of research was the XI IPS 3 of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the school year of 2013/2014 consisting of 31 students. The data source derived from teacher and students. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, test, interview and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using a descriptive comparative technique of analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be found that the student learning outcome in cognitive domain improved. The mean class score obtained was 63.87 in prior action, increasing to 71.16 in cycle I, and to 76.39 in cycle II. In addition, the student learning passing in cognitive domain was 38.71% in prior action, increasing to 67.74% in cycle I and to 93.55% in cycle II. The student learning outcome in affective domain also improved. It was 61.89% in cycle I and increasing to 78.67% in cycle II. Then, the student learning outcome in psychomotor domain also improved; it was 58.78% in cycle I and increasing to 77.5% in cycle II. The conclusion of research was that the application of greeting sending and problem types of cooperative learning model could improve the Sociology subject learning outcome in the XI IPS 3 Grade of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the School year of 2013/2014. The objective of research was to find out (1) the meaning of sedekah gunung rite, (2) the role played by the custom figures in sedekah gunung rite, and (3) the strategy the custom figures took in preserving the sedekah gunung rite. The research was taken place in Lencoh Village of Selo Sub District of Boyolali Regency, because this village still maintains and preserves sedekah gunung rite. This study was a qualitative research with phenomenological method. Technique of collecting data used was interview with the main data source such as custom figure, chief of village, the chief of RT 06, and villagers. Meanwhile another data derived from observation and documentation. The sampling techniques employed were purposive sampling and snowball sampling ones. The data validation test was conducted using source and method triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that (1) the sedekah gunung rite was Lencoh people’s tradition from generation to generation; it was considered as the obligation for all Lencoh people and as the means of asking for salvation to God; (2) the role of custom figures as the official section and ujub kidungan reader had not been replaced yet and constituted the central role in sedekah gunung rite; (3) the strategy the custom figure took in preserving sedekah gunung rite was continuously socialization leading to habit, the people’s due collected per household and the succession of organizing committee. The conclusion of research was that the custom figure played a central role in sedekah gunung rite. The objective of research was to find out (1) the perception of Kelurahan Kadipiro people on the existence of Taman Cerdas, (2) the function of Taman Cerdas in the attempt of fulfilling the child’s needs, (3) whether or not the Taman Cerdas became the solution to the children problems in Kelurahan Kadipiro. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study strategy. The sampling techniques employed were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Meanwhile, techniques of collecting data employed were in-depth interview, direct observation, and document collection. The data validation test was carried out using source/data and method triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive analysis encompassing data collection, data display, and conclusion. The results of research obtained were as follows. 1) majority people did not care about the existence of Taman Cerdas because the did not known the actual function of Taman Cerdas. 2) Smart Part did not function optimally to meet the children’s needs because of less coordination in its management mechanism. 3) The Taman Cerdas in fact did not give solution to the children’s problems in Kelurahan Kadipiro. The conclusion of research obtained from this study in line with hyperrealism concept formulated by Jean Baudrillard that the existence of Taman Cerdas used only as the symbol/sign communicating to the public that Surakarta had become the Child Friendly City. However this sign was not a reflection of reality meaning, because in fact the Taman Cerdas could not function optimally in meeting the children’s needs. The objective of research was to improve the activeness and sociological learning achievement by applying Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model in the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles each of which containing 4 stages: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of research was the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014 consisting of 32 students. The data source derived from teachers and students. Techniques of collecting data included observation, interview, learning outcome test, documentation, and field note. The data validation was conducted using data triangulation used to check the data validity with observation, test, interview, and etc. Meanwhile, the data analysis in this research consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The result of research on the application of Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model could improve the students’ activeness and sociological learning achievement. Viewed from learning activeness of students including affective aspect, the mean score attained was 15.78 in cycle I increasing by 3.81 in cycle II to 19.59. In psychomotor aspect, the score also increased from 13.37 in cycle I to 15.31 in cycle II; it increased by 1.94. The learning achievement improved from the mean score of 70.68 in pre-cycle to 73.06 in cycle I, increasing by 2.38. Then in cycle I the mean score of students was 73.06 increasing to 78.84 in cycle II, increasing by 5.78. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the application of Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model could improve the activeness and sociological learning achievement of the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014. The method employed in this research was descriptive qualitative with Case Study approach. The data source collected of primary data including interview with informant, and secondary data including observation and documentation study. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. Technique of collecting data used was in-depth interview with 12 informants consisting of students who have never had dating and those who were having dating, teachers and dormitory management. The data validation was carried out using data triangulation and method. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis encompassing data collection, data reduction, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that the regulation concerning the prohibition of making dating in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta had been applied tightly by the school. Nevertheless, many students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta still made dating beyond the school’s knowledge. From here, a different perception emerged concerning dating between the students who had never made dating and those who were making dating. The conclusions of research were 1) perceiving the social behavior in dating, the students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta who were having dating had positive perception that dating is used as the media of entertainment, spending spare time, as sharing friend and the means of attracting more attention from someone rather than parents, while those who had never made dating perceive that dating is negative because it approaches to zina (any sexual act outside of marriage), distracts learning focus and wastes time, 2) the perceived social behaviors were role behavior tendency, behavior tendency in social relation, and behavior tendency in social relation, 3) the factors affecting the perception of SMA Al Islam Surakarta students on social behavior in dating that environment in which there were prohibition of dating and knowledge, namely religion. The purpose of this study was to determine the mechanism of admission of students in early childhood education Putra Pertiwi, knowing the implementation of learning in early childhood education, and to determine the impact that occurs on the learner from the learning that has been done in early childhood Putra Pertiwi Rejosari Post, Surakarta. In this research the analysis was done using a model of Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). This research used a qualitative evaluation methods. The subjects were sub-district superintendent of Early Childhood Education UPTD Banjarsari, Early Childhood Education managers, educators, parents, and learners in Early Childhood Education Putra Pertiwi. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and literature. Analysis of the data using three main components namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on the research findings and discussion of the data showed that learning in Early Childhood Education Putra Pertiwi already done as expected. This is reduced from the findings that, the mechanism of registration of new learners without a test and financing economic assessed by parents. In lessons, educators become facilitators of learning-based child student center so that learners acquire a wide range of facilities in the context of building her abilities. Learning to focus on the process not the result or achievement of a minimum limit. The impact of learning according to humanistic education is to learn the whole person can be seen through the activities carried out by activating all aspects owned learners. Aspects include aspects of moral and religious values, cognitive, motoric, language, social and emotional. Conclusions from this research, that: Early Childhood Education already answered childhood needs with self concept building. It happen in simple registration mechanism and flexible so that it can be reached by a wide audience, economical financing, and facilities are also inadequate. It also can answer the fulfillment of the needs in the context of early childhood education. Implementation of student-based learning center has been stimulating the desire to know and not feel burdened learners so that learners learn freely and showed a positive response. Learning to focus on the process not the result or achievement of a minimum limit. The impact of learning on all aspects of show development and in accordance with the children needs and parental expectations. This study employed a quantitative method with statistic analysis. The population of research was all of the X graders of SMA Negeri 1 Bantul consisting of 192 students. The sample was taken using random sampling. The size of sample for instrument tryout consisted of 17 students, selected randomly, and the sample of research consisted of 49 students. Technique of collecting data used for X1, X2, and Y variables was questionnaire, while the data analysis was conducted using a statistic descriptive analysis and product moment correlation with SPSS program for windows help. Considering the result of research, it could be found (1) the activity of watching television show related with the learning achievement with rX1Y = 0.0149, and P = 0.30, so that the relationship of activity of watching television show to learning achievement of the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was not significant. (2) The parent guidance intensity related with the learning achievement with rX2Y = 0.285, and P = 0.045, so that the relationship of parent guidance intensity to learning achievement of the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was significant. (3) The relationship of television show watching activity and parent guidance intensity to learning achievement yielded r X1X2Y = 0.339, and P = 0.060, so that the relationship of television show watching activity and parent guidance intensity to learning achievement in the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was significant. K8410009 ABSTRACT This research aims to increase students’ involvement and learning result by the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on Sociology in XI IPS 1 students SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. This research is a class action research with the subject of the research is class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta academic year 2013/2014 which consists of 29 students. This research is conducted in two cycles. Cycle I discussed about the definition of social group, the characteristics and the factors that influence social group. Whereas cycle II discussed about the relationship between groups in the society. The data was taken from the observation of teaching and learning process in Sociology class using involvement observation form and students learning result, test result, field note, interview and documentation. The data that is taken from involvement observation form is analyzed by calculating the mean from each aspect that is observed. The result of the research shows that the all aspects mean of students’ involvement and learning result on sociology after the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) is increasing. On the involvement aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 13,72 then in cycle II increased 4,17 points which become 17,89. On the affective aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 12,27 then in cycle II increased 2 points which become 14,27. On the psychomotor aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 14,24 then in cycle II increased 1,27 points which become 15,51. On cognitive aspect the mean score that is obtained in pre-cycle is 63,79 then in cycle I increased 11,55 points which become 75,34. The increase is also occur in cycle II which increased 4,83 points become 80,17. The conclusion is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on Sociology can increase students’ involvement and learning result in XI IPS 1 students SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. KARAKTERISTIK PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS TITI PAPAN KECAMATAN MEDAN DELI TAHUN 2012

Hypertension is caused by many factors, such as smoking, drink alcohol, drink coffee, stress and many more. In Indonesia, the prevalence of hypertension ranged from 30.7%. Based on the profile of the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office in 2008 which refers to the results Riskesdas 2007 in North Sumatra, from 10 types of non-communicable diseases is known that the prevalence of hypertension was ranked the fourth highest proportion of 5.8%. This study aims to determine how the characteristics of patients with hypertension in the Health Center Titi Papan Deli Medan District in 2012. Type of research is a descriptive study design case series. The samples size in this study were 258 men who comprised 98 (38.0%) men and 160 (62.0%) women. This study uses secondary data collection were obtained from patients with hypertension status card in Titi Health Center Board in 2012. Processing data using SPSS version 15.0 and statistical analysis using Chi Square. From the analysis using a statistical test Chi Square test is obtained there is no significant relationship between sex (p = 0.483) and occupation (p = 0.360) with the degree of hypertension by Chi Square test. While statistical analysis of age, education and place with the degree of hypertension can not be done because there are expected cell count of less than 5. To the community health center to check the blood presure of each patient aged >20 years old, every who go to the community health center. This research aims to improve students of X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar learning achievement by the implementation of Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) technique in cooperative learning model. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR) which is conducted in two cycles, with every cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is the students of X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014. The data was taken from the teacher and the students. The techniques of collecting data are observation, test, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data use content validity, triangulation technique and expert opinion. The analysis of the data use descriptive analysis and critical technique. The result of the research shows that the implementation of Two Tray Two Stray (TSTS) technique in cooperative learning model can improve students’ learning achievement. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve student achievement start from pre-cycle to the first cycle, and from cycle I to cycle II. This is shown by the increased percentage of student activity that is the aspect of asking, answering, and argues that in the first cycle 77,77 % to 80,55 % in the second cycle, the aspects of student interaction within the group of 80,55 % in the first cycle and 83,33 % in the second cycle. The average value students in each cycle also increased , the pre-cycle average value of 64 increased to 74,58 in the first cycle and increased to 82,75 in the second cycle. The conclusions of this research is the application of cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) can improve student achievement class X 4 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. (2) the factors that affect children become beggars in Klewer Market Surakarta. (3) the impact of the activities carried out by begging children Klewer Market Surakarta This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to the type of phenomenology. Techniques using purposive sampling and snowball. While data collection techniques performed by in-depth interviews, observation and study documentation passive. To test the validity of using triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. Analysis of the data using the interactive model of data reduction phase, the presentation of the data, drawing conclusions and verification. Considering the result of research: (1) Perception of child beggars begging on three activities. Including child beggars can earn money, can play the sidelines begging activities and child beggars begging activities undertaken to assist their parents. (2) Factors affecting children begging activity there are four. First, because of the favorable earnings begging. Second, is the lifestyle demands that include diet, fashion, and ownership of electronic stuffs. Third, the absence of rules that prohibit beggars around the market. Fourth, the attitude of the security market and traders seemed to allow and accept the existence of beggars who are around the market. (3) The negative impact begging activities undertaken by children is child feel embarrassed or insecure when met with his school friends and activities can lead to child beggars begging to feel addicted. While the positive impact of child beggars are begging for a child can save / set aside income and able to meet the needs of children, such as school needs pocket money, pocket money needs, and the needs of school equipment. Television presents variety of Korean programs such as Korean drama, Korean movie, Korean music events, and many other programs about Korean every day. The most of fans of Korean shows in the television are teens who are school students. The students are excited watching the Korean shows in the television. The Korean television program has success to steal student’s hearts, so students was not enough just watching in the television. The technological sophistication supported by student’s facilities make students more easy to wathing Korean shows. The intensity of watching Korean shows in the television and other media are very high. Watching Korean shows in the televisions and other media being important activity for students, so students don’t want to miss this shows even until forget about their obligation as student, that is studying. The student-fans of Korean program has different behaviours from other students who don’t like Korean programs. Being fans of Korean wave or hallyu also give an impact for students. Thesis, Surakarta : Teacher Training and Education Faculty of Sebelas Maret University. July 2014. This research aimed to increase the learning achievement of Anthropology subject in the XI Language Grade of SMAN 1 Tawangsari Sukoharjo applying Snowball Drilling type learning model. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages such as : planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The first and second cycles discussed the language and dialect. The subject of research was the XI Language of SMAN 1 Tawangsari in the academic year of 2013/2014 consisting of 24 students. The data source derived from teacher and students. Tecniques of collecting data used were observation, test, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using descrptive comparative technique of analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be found that the student’s learning achievement in cognitive domain increased. The mean class score obtained was 72.54 in prior action, increasing to 80.21 in cycle I, and to be 82.17 in cycle II. The students learning achievement in affective domain also increased. It was 68.33% in cycle I and increasing to 80.33% in cycle II. Then, the students learning achievement in psychomotor domain also increased; it was 58.33% in cycle I and increasing to 80.83% in cycle II. The conclusion of research was that the application of Snowball Drilling type learning model could increase the Anthropology students learning achievement in the class of XI Language of SMAN 1 Tawangsari in the academic year of 2013/2014. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR) which is conducted in two cycles, with every cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subject of this research is the students of X-7 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014. The data was taken from the teacher and the students. The techniques of collecting data are observation, test, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data use content validity, triangulation technique and expert opinion. The analysis of the data use descriptive analysis and critical technique. The result of the research shows that the implementation of Jigsaw technique in cooperative learning model can increase students’ learning achievement. Activity concentration of students interaction in group discussion is increasing from 69,44% in cycle I to 88,89% in cycle II. Students learning achievement which is taken from evaluation also increased in every cycle which is followed by the increase of the class mean in which the mean before action is 61,67 become 75,11 after cycle I and increased to be 81,08 in cycle II. The evaluation score of the students increase in every cycle. This followed by the number of students that obtain score above minimum requirement, which is 75, is also increased. The percentage before action is 36,11% and become 66,67% in cycle I and then become 83,33% in cycle II. The conclusion is the implementation of Jigsaw technique in cooperative learning model can increase students’ learning achievement in class X-7 SMA Negeri Kebakkramat. The purpose of this study are the improvement of teaching sociology to increase learning achievement of student of sociology in XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar of 2013/2014 academic year through the implementation of cooperative learning type of Quick on the draw. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycles consists of 4 steps: planning, action, observation, and reflection. A subject of this research is student of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar consist of 37 students. The colleting data used observation, interview, test and documentation method. Data analysis technique is use three components, they are data reduction, data presentation, and get the conclusions. Result of the research show that through the implementasi of ccoperative learning model of quick on the draw could improve student learning outcomes from pre-action to cycle 1 and from cycle I to cycle 2. It can be seen by an increase in the average grade at pre-actoin of 68,41 mincrease in cycle 1 to 74,38. In the second cycle the average increase from 74,38 or 70,28% to 78,05 or 78,38% of the total number of students is 37 students. The conclusions of the research is implementasi of cooperative learning type of quick on the draw could to increase student achievement in sociology learning class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar of 2013/2014 academic year. oleh -, SETIYORINI -; ABSTRACT This research aimed to improve the learning outcome of sociology subject in the XI IPS (Social Science) 3 Grade of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta by applying greeting sending and problem types of cooperative learning. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of such stages as: planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The first and second cycles discussed the social group material. The subject of research was the XI IPS 3 of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the school year of 2013/2014 consisting of 31 students. The data source derived from teacher and students. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, test, interview and documentation. The data analysis was conducted using a descriptive comparative technique of analysis. Considering the result of data analysis, it could be found that the student learning outcome in cognitive domain improved. The mean class score obtained was 63.87 in prior action, increasing to 71.16 in cycle I, and to 76.39 in cycle II. In addition, the student learning passing in cognitive domain was 38.71% in prior action, increasing to 67.74% in cycle I and to 93.55% in cycle II. The student learning outcome in affective domain also improved. It was 61.89% in cycle I and increasing to 78.67% in cycle II. Then, the student learning outcome in psychomotor domain also improved; it was 58.78% in cycle I and increasing to 77.5% in cycle II. The conclusion of research was that the application of greeting sending and problem types of cooperative learning model could improve the Sociology subject learning outcome in the XI IPS 3 Grade of SMA Batik 2 Surakarta in the School year of 2013/2014. The objective of research was to find out (1) the meaning of sedekah gunung rite, (2) the role played by the custom figures in sedekah gunung rite, and (3) the strategy the custom figures took in preserving the sedekah gunung rite. The research was taken place in Lencoh Village of Selo Sub District of Boyolali Regency, because this village still maintains and preserves sedekah gunung rite. This study was a qualitative research with phenomenological method. Technique of collecting data used was interview with the main data source such as custom figure, chief of village, the chief of RT 06, and villagers. Meanwhile another data derived from observation and documentation. The sampling techniques employed were purposive sampling and snowball sampling ones. The data validation test was conducted using source and method triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that (1) the sedekah gunung rite was Lencoh people’s tradition from generation to generation; it was considered as the obligation for all Lencoh people and as the means of asking for salvation to God; (2) the role of custom figures as the official section and ujub kidungan reader had not been replaced yet and constituted the central role in sedekah gunung rite; (3) the strategy the custom figure took in preserving sedekah gunung rite was continuously socialization leading to habit, the people’s due collected per household and the succession of organizing committee. The conclusion of research was that the custom figure played a central role in sedekah gunung rite. The objective of research was to find out (1) the perception of Kelurahan Kadipiro people on the existence of Taman Cerdas, (2) the function of Taman Cerdas in the attempt of fulfilling the child’s needs, (3) whether or not the Taman Cerdas became the solution to the children problems in Kelurahan Kadipiro. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a case study strategy. The sampling techniques employed were purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Meanwhile, techniques of collecting data employed were in-depth interview, direct observation, and document collection. The data validation test was carried out using source/data and method triangulations. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive analysis encompassing data collection, data display, and conclusion. The results of research obtained were as follows. 1) majority people did not care about the existence of Taman Cerdas because the did not known the actual function of Taman Cerdas. 2) Smart Part did not function optimally to meet the children’s needs because of less coordination in its management mechanism. 3) The Taman Cerdas in fact did not give solution to the children’s problems in Kelurahan Kadipiro. The conclusion of research obtained from this study in line with hyperrealism concept formulated by Jean Baudrillard that the existence of Taman Cerdas used only as the symbol/sign communicating to the public that Surakarta had become the Child Friendly City. However this sign was not a reflection of reality meaning, because in fact the Taman Cerdas could not function optimally in meeting the children’s needs. The objective of research was to improve the activeness and sociological learning achievement by applying Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model in the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles each of which containing 4 stages: planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of research was the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014 consisting of 32 students. The data source derived from teachers and students. Techniques of collecting data included observation, interview, learning outcome test, documentation, and field note. The data validation was conducted using data triangulation used to check the data validity with observation, test, interview, and etc. Meanwhile, the data analysis in this research consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The result of research on the application of Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model could improve the students’ activeness and sociological learning achievement. Viewed from learning activeness of students including affective aspect, the mean score attained was 15.78 in cycle I increasing by 3.81 in cycle II to 19.59. In psychomotor aspect, the score also increased from 13.37 in cycle I to 15.31 in cycle II; it increased by 1.94. The learning achievement improved from the mean score of 70.68 in pre-cycle to 73.06 in cycle I, increasing by 2.38. Then in cycle I the mean score of students was 73.06 increasing to 78.84 in cycle II, increasing by 5.78. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that the application of Giving Question and Getting Answer types of learning model could improve the activeness and sociological learning achievement of the X-5 graders of SMA Negeri 3 Boyolali in the school year of 2013/2014. The method employed in this research was descriptive qualitative with Case Study approach. The data source collected of primary data including interview with informant, and secondary data including observation and documentation study. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. Technique of collecting data used was in-depth interview with 12 informants consisting of students who have never had dating and those who were having dating, teachers and dormitory management. The data validation was carried out using data triangulation and method. Technique of analyzing data used was an interactive model of analysis encompassing data collection, data reduction, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The result of research showed that the regulation concerning the prohibition of making dating in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta had been applied tightly by the school. Nevertheless, many students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta still made dating beyond the school’s knowledge. From here, a different perception emerged concerning dating between the students who had never made dating and those who were making dating. The conclusions of research were 1) perceiving the social behavior in dating, the students of SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta who were having dating had positive perception that dating is used as the media of entertainment, spending spare time, as sharing friend and the means of attracting more attention from someone rather than parents, while those who had never made dating perceive that dating is negative because it approaches to zina (any sexual act outside of marriage), distracts learning focus and wastes time, 2) the perceived social behaviors were role behavior tendency, behavior tendency in social relation, and behavior tendency in social relation, 3) the factors affecting the perception of SMA Al Islam Surakarta students on social behavior in dating that environment in which there were prohibition of dating and knowledge, namely religion. The purpose of this study was to determine the mechanism of admission of students in early childhood education Putra Pertiwi, knowing the implementation of learning in early childhood education, and to determine the impact that occurs on the learner from the learning that has been done in early childhood Putra Pertiwi Rejosari Post, Surakarta. In this research the analysis was done using a model of Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP). This research used a qualitative evaluation methods. The subjects were sub-district superintendent of Early Childhood Education UPTD Banjarsari, Early Childhood Education managers, educators, parents, and learners in Early Childhood Education Putra Pertiwi. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and literature. Analysis of the data using three main components namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification. Based on the research findings and discussion of the data showed that learning in Early Childhood Education Putra Pertiwi already done as expected. This is reduced from the findings that, the mechanism of registration of new learners without a test and financing economic assessed by parents. In lessons, educators become facilitators of learning-based child student center so that learners acquire a wide range of facilities in the context of building her abilities. Learning to focus on the process not the result or achievement of a minimum limit. The impact of learning according to humanistic education is to learn the whole person can be seen through the activities carried out by activating all aspects owned learners. Aspects include aspects of moral and religious values, cognitive, motoric, language, social and emotional. Conclusions from this research, that: Early Childhood Education already answered childhood needs with self concept building. It happen in simple registration mechanism and flexible so that it can be reached by a wide audience, economical financing, and facilities are also inadequate. It also can answer the fulfillment of the needs in the context of early childhood education. Implementation of student-based learning center has been stimulating the desire to know and not feel burdened learners so that learners learn freely and showed a positive response. Learning to focus on the process not the result or achievement of a minimum limit. The impact of learning on all aspects of show development and in accordance with the children needs and parental expectations. This study employed a quantitative method with statistic analysis. The population of research was all of the X graders of SMA Negeri 1 Bantul consisting of 192 students. The sample was taken using random sampling. The size of sample for instrument tryout consisted of 17 students, selected randomly, and the sample of research consisted of 49 students. Technique of collecting data used for X1, X2, and Y variables was questionnaire, while the data analysis was conducted using a statistic descriptive analysis and product moment correlation with SPSS program for windows help. Considering the result of research, it could be found (1) the activity of watching television show related with the learning achievement with rX1Y = 0.0149, and P = 0.30, so that the relationship of activity of watching television show to learning achievement of the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was not significant. (2) The parent guidance intensity related with the learning achievement with rX2Y = 0.285, and P = 0.045, so that the relationship of parent guidance intensity to learning achievement of the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was significant. (3) The relationship of television show watching activity and parent guidance intensity to learning achievement yielded r X1X2Y = 0.339, and P = 0.060, so that the relationship of television show watching activity and parent guidance intensity to learning achievement in the X graders of SMA N 1 Bantul was significant. K8410009 ABSTRACT This research aims to increase students’ involvement and learning result by the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on Sociology in XI IPS 1 students SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta. This research is a class action research with the subject of the research is class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta academic year 2013/2014 which consists of 29 students. This research is conducted in two cycles. Cycle I discussed about the definition of social group, the characteristics and the factors that influence social group. Whereas cycle II discussed about the relationship between groups in the society. The data was taken from the observation of teaching and learning process in Sociology class using involvement observation form and students learning result, test result, field note, interview and documentation. The data that is taken from involvement observation form is analyzed by calculating the mean from each aspect that is observed. The result of the research shows that the all aspects mean of students’ involvement and learning result on sociology after the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) is increasing. On the involvement aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 13,72 then in cycle II increased 4,17 points which become 17,89. On the affective aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 12,27 then in cycle II increased 2 points which become 14,27. On the psychomotor aspect the mean score that is obtained in cycle I is 14,24 then in cycle II increased 1,27 points which become 15,51. On cognitive aspect the mean score that is obtained in pre-cycle is 63,79 then in cycle I increased 11,55 points which become 75,34. The increase is also occur in cycle II which increased 4,83 points become 80,17. The conclusion is the implementation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) on Sociology can increase students’ involvement and learning result in XI IPS 1 students SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta.
