One of them is by the development of portland cement composites. Composites portland cement is the result of grinding of type 1 portland cement clinker with gypsum and materials other inorganic. Any alternative materials are added to the compost soil. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of compost soil as a partial substitution of raw material limestone in cement manufacturing and the quality of the cement produced. The benefits of research to find out the optimum composition of the addition of compost to the compressive strength f cement mortar, blaine cement and lost of ignation cement. The study used a variation of compost soil from the addition of 0%, 3%, 5%, 10% and 15%. Mortar compressive strength of samples tested cuboid with a size of 5cm x 5cm x 5 cm. And smoothness cement was also tested by means of blaine and lost of ignation measured also by heating in a furnace.
