The implementation of development especially in the economic field cannot be separated from the growth of vocation. employment in an area can be influenced by investment, the amount of industries, and also wage rate. This research is intended to what extent the three independent variables affect employment in East Java Province. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with secondary data combined with 29 districts and 9 cities in the period 2013-2015. The analysis used is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that investment, the number of industries and the level of wages have a significant and positive effect on employment in East Java Province. The factor that has the most dominant influence is the number of industries. Keywords: Labor Absorption, Investment, Industry, Wager Rate, Economic Development
