  • Idiomelas fulvipes fulvipes (Erichson, 1843) Material examined. GRNR: 1614 m: 21.II.2014, LT, 1 ♂. Distribution. AFR_MAD_SAR species. The distribution of this species extends into Sub-Saharan Africa (AO, BW, CV, DJ, MG, SC, SO, TZ, ZA (Kataev 2014)) and Arabian Peninsula (AE, IQ, OM, SA, YE). Life forms and Remarks MSCD species. Basilewsky (1979) reported I. (as Egaploa) crenulata Dejean, 1829 from Bahara (Jeddah, Makkah Province). The actual distribution of I. (Egaploa) crenulata seems to be restricted only to West Africa (Kataev 1997, 2014). Perhaps the record of Basilewsky (1979) pertains to I. fulvipes fulvipes. In the GRNR, one adult specimen was collected from the Opuntia ficus-indica community.
