This species was reported from two localities near Lubumbashi (Haut-Katanga Province) in the extreme southeastern part of the DRC. Kearney (2013a: 580), however, also pointed out that the relationship between angolensis and botswanae is obscure, because of the scarcity of the former, but she also refers to Setzer (1971: 262), who indicated that the two species might possibly occur sympatrically.</description><description>Published as part of Cakenberghe, Victor Van, Tungaluna, Guy-Crispin Gembu, Akawa, Prescott Musaba, Seamark, Ernest &amp; Verheyen, Erik, 2017, The bats of the Congo and of Rwanda and Burundi revisited (Mammalia: Chiroptera), pp. 1-327 in European Journal of Taxonomy 382 on page 92, DOI: 10.5852/ejt.2017.382, http://zenodo.org/record/3860077</description><identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/3861397</identifier><identifier>10.5281/zenodo.3861397</identifier><identifier>oai:zenodo.org:3861397</identifier><relation>info:eu-repo/semantics/altIdentifier/url/http://treatment.plazi.org/id/0389878798475A43D82EF8F9D717FDFC</relation><relation>doi:10.5852/ejt.2017.382</relation><relation>url:http://zenodo.org/record/3860077</relation><relation>url:http://publication.plazi.org/id/FFB0FFFF981C5A1EDA61FF8BD215FFE0</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.3860172</relation><relation>url:http://zoobank.org/FA508A12-9BDB-4A2B-9B0C-98FDD161443C</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.3861396</relation><relation>url:https://zenodo.org/communities/biosyslit</relation><rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</rights><rights>https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/legalcode</rights><source>The bats of the Congo and of Rwanda and Burundi revisited (Mammalia: Chiroptera), pp. 1-327 in European Journal of Taxonomy 382 92</source><subject>Biodiversity</subject><subject>Taxonomy</subject><subject>Animalia</subject><subject>Chordata</subject><subject>Mammalia</subject><subject>Chiroptera</subject><subject>Vespertilionidae</subject><subject>Laephotis</subject><subject>Laephotis botswanae</subject><title>Laephotis botswanae Setzer 1971</title><type>Other:info:eu-repo/semantics/other</type><type>Other:publication-taxonomictreatment</type><recordID>3861397</recordID></dc>
