Rhysida togoensis Kraepelin, 190&#xAD;3 Kraepelin 1903: 145, figs. 84, 85 (as Rhysida togo&#xEB;nsis n. sp.) Type locality and specimens. Westafrika [Western Africa] (Sierra Leone, Togo, Kamerun [Cameroon], Little Popo). Dimensions. L&#xE4;nge [length] 60 mm. Type material. Syntypes 5 (ZMH-A0000664, ZMH-A0009357-9360). TOGO: Maritime Province, An&#xE9;ho (&#x201C; Little Popo &#x201D;) [ca. 6&#xB0;13&#x2019;N, 1&#xB0;34&#x2019;E]. Preservation. 1 jar: Label. Rhysida togoensis Krpln Typus Little Popo H.O. Schmidt d. 1893 (Kraepelin handwriting). Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 70, No. 74. Syntypes 4. Taxonomic remarks. Kraepelin (1903) did not specify the number of specimens in his original description and they are all syntypes. The species was considered a subspecies of Rhysida nuda (Newport, 1845) by Attems (1930) until Koch (1985) suggested that many published records of R. nuda actually belong to R. immarginata (Porat, 1876). Lewis (2001), based on specimens from Nigeria, finally listed the specimens as a subspecies of the latter and &#x201C;a form widespread in West Africa&#x201D;. Collection remarks. The type locality refers to a former German settlement. Current systematic position. Rhysida immarginata togoensis Kraepelin, 1903; transferred by Lewis (2001: 47).</description><description>Published as part of Thofern, Detlef, Dup&#xE9;rr&#xE9;, Nadine &amp; Harms, Danilo, 2021, An annotated type catalogue of the centipedes (Myriapoda: Chilopoda) held in the Zoological Museum Hamburg, pp. 1-103 in Zootaxa 4977 (1) on page 70, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4977.1.1, http://zenodo.org/record/4819677</description><identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/5045870</identifier><identifier>10.5281/zenodo.5045870</identifier><identifier>oai:zenodo.org:5045870</identifier><relation>info:eu-repo/semantics/altIdentifier/url/http://treatment.plazi.org/id/ED42878659109831D18D886275E69841</relation><relation>doi:10.11646/zootaxa.4977.1.1</relation><relation>url:http://zenodo.org/record/4819677</relation><relation>url:http://publication.plazi.org/id/117BFFFE59559874D11A8B2075229E42</relation><relation>url:http://zoobank.org/5ACBC9FE-2DA3-425D-A046-CE921C8EFF10</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.5045869</relation><relation>url:https://zenodo.org/communities/biosyslit</relation><rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</rights><source>An annotated type catalogue of the centipedes (Myriapoda: Chilopoda) held in the Zoological Museum Hamburg, pp. 1-103 in Zootaxa 4977(1) 70</source><subject>Biodiversity</subject><subject>Taxonomy</subject><subject>Animalia</subject><subject>Arthropoda</subject><subject>Chilopoda</subject><subject>Scolopendromorpha</subject><subject>Scolopendridae</subject><subject>Rhysida</subject><subject>Rhysida togoensis</subject><title>Rhysida togoensis Kraepelin 1903</title><type>Other:info:eu-repo/semantics/other</type><type>Other:publication-taxonomictreatment</type><recordID>5045870</recordID></dc>
