- A.7. Caribaetis grandis (González-Lazo and Salles, 2007) Figure 4. Fallceon grandis González-Lazo and Salles 2007:52 (nymph). Caribaetis grandis; Kluge and Novikova 2014:232. Holotype. Mature nymph, Province Granma, Río Yara, 6-VI-99, P. López. The species was described from the Río Yara, Granma Prov., by Gonzalez-Lazo and Salles (2007). It is similar to C. planifrons in coloration but distinguished from it by its larger size (> 7.5 mm). Ecology. Little is known about the ecology of this species. It was collected on stones in rapids at an altitude between 300 and 400 m (López 2001). Geographic distribution. Distribution of this species is limited to the type locality in the Eastern Region (Fig. 4).
