De Jong (1976) illustrates the male genitalia. MJWC has collected extensively in Kakamega Forest over four years, and checked all Metisella spp. without locating this species. It may be very localised, very rare, or both. Larsen (1991) states that the food plants are various grasses, but this is an assumption.</description><description>Published as part of Cock, Matthew J.
