Material examined. 11 Paratypes USNPC No 100847 Remarks. This species, originally placed in Diplectanum by Mendoza Franco et al. (2008), is transferred to Neodiplectanum as N. gatunense n. comb.. This species resembles N. magnodiscatum by sharing spine-like rodlets in the posterior rows of the squamodiscs with three axes, and a dorsal bar with constriction at the end.
