Diagnosis. Pristidia resembles Nusatidia Deeleman-Reinhold, 2001 and Matidia Thorell, 1878 in having the similar, long slender body and legs (Figs 1, 10, 11), but can be distinguished from Nusatidia by the relatively large eyes (Fig. 1) and from Matidia by the higher cephalic region /carapace width ratio (approximately 2/3, while 1/ 2 in Matidia), femur I shorter than femur II and, cheliceral promarginal teeth inserted farther from base of fang than retromarginal ones (Fig. 9). Pristidia species also can be recognized by the following combination of genitalic characters: embolus with a claw-like apex; cymbial base with a blunt flange (Figs 3&#x2013;8, 12&#x2013;14; Deeleman-Reinhold 2001: figs 185, 194, 200); epigynal plate round, disc-shaped, posterior margin heavily sclerotized, insemination ducts visible through semitranslucent anterior region (Fig. 15; Deeleman-Reinhold 2001: figs 187, 191, 195). Distribution. South East Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra, Java and Borneo) and China (Hainan, Jiangxi, Taiwan, Guizhou). Composition. Two species-groups comprising six species: Pristidia prima group (P. longistila Deeleman- Reinhold, 2001, P. prima Deeleman-Reinhold, 2001, P. ramosa Yu, Sun &amp; Zhang, 2012, P. secunda Deeleman- Reinhold, 2001 and Pristidia cervicornuta sp. nov.) and P. viridissima group (P. viridissima Deeleman-Reinhold, 2001).</description><description>Published as part of Yu, Hao, Zhang, Jianshuang &amp; Chen, Jian, 2017, Taxonomy of the genus Pristidia Deeleman-Reinhold, 2001 (Araneae: Clubionidae) in China, pp. 411-418 in Zootaxa 4306 (3) on page 412, DOI: 10.11646/zootaxa.4306.3.7, http://zenodo.org/record/844524</description><identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/6049437</identifier><identifier>10.5281/zenodo.6049437</identifier><identifier>oai:zenodo.org:6049437</identifier><relation>info:eu-repo/semantics/altIdentifier/url/http://treatment.plazi.org/id/03B9DB6CF637E424C5C0FDBE22CB00E7</relation><relation>doi:10.11646/zootaxa.4306.3.7</relation><relation>url:http://zenodo.org/record/844524</relation><relation>url:http://publication.plazi.org/id/FF80A314F636E425C557FFFB2214043D</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.844526</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.844530</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.844528</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.844532</relation><relation>url:http://zoobank.org/D8DD0297-1AF3-4423-9A28-344ABA489841</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.6049436</relation><relation>url:https://zenodo.org/communities/biosyslit</relation><rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</rights><rights>https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/legalcode</rights><source>Taxonomy of the genus Pristidia Deeleman-Reinhold, 2001 (Araneae: Clubionidae) in China, pp. 411-418 in Zootaxa 4306(3) 412</source><subject>Biodiversity</subject><subject>Taxonomy</subject><subject>Animalia</subject><subject>Arthropoda</subject><subject>Arachnida</subject><subject>Araneae</subject><subject>Clubionidae</subject><subject>Pristidia</subject><title>Pristidia Deeleman-Reinhold 2001</title><type>Other:info:eu-repo/semantics/other</type><type>Other:publication-taxonomictreatment</type><recordID>6049437</recordID></dc>
