Distribution. Afrotropical, Australian and Palaearctic. Host records. In Egypt, this species has been reported from Lepidosaphes beckii (Newman) (Hemiptera: Diaspididae), Ceroplastes floridensis Comstock (Hemiptera: Coccidae) (Hafez et al. 1987), and Ceroplastes rusci (Linnaeus) (Hemiptera: Coccidae) (Ragab 1995).
