Diagnosis. See Schuh (1984). Dorsal habitus image of the holotype male of A. coonoor is available on a website: http://www.discoverlife.org. Discussion. This type genus of the tribe Auricillocorini is presumably most closely related to Zaratus Distant, on the basis of similarity of the external appearance and male genitalia.
