All the GBI adult specimens were sampled on white flowers (plant not identified) in primary moist forest (e.g. Fig. 2f). Biological and other ecological data are not available for the species, but see general comments in Schein (1954b) and the remarks under the genus Coenochilus (Serrano et al. 2020).
