The second order rate constant (k2) decreases with increasing concentration of NaLS. The surfactant concentration has been maintained above the critical micelle concentration (cmc) value in the aqueous organic medium. The rate constants in two different solvent compositions have been compared. The activation parameters have been computed in the cases of two different carboxylates and discussed. </description><identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/6384713</identifier><identifier>10.5281/zenodo.6384713</identifier><identifier>oai:zenodo.org:6384713</identifier><language>eng</language><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.6384712</relation><rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</rights><rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode</rights><source>Journal of Indian Chemical Society Vol. 58(Dec. 1981) 1177-1179</source><subject>Dodecyl</subject><subject>Sulphate</subject><subject>Carboxylates</subject><title>Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate (NaLS) Inhibition of the Nucleophilic Substitution Reaction Between Phenacyl Bromide and Aliphatic Carboxylates</title><type>Journal:Article</type><type>Journal:Article</type><recordID>6384713</recordID></dc>
