  • The objectives of the BE OPEN project are to create a common understanding on the practical impact of Open Science and to identify and put in place the mechanisms to make it a reality in transport research. The deliverable D5.3 Impact assessment of Open Science in Transport is produced within WP5, Guidance for promoting Open Science in Transport research, Task 5.3 Impact assessment of Open Science in transport The aim of the task is to carry out an impact assessment of Open Science (OS) in transport to describe the potential environmental, social and economic impacts and define explicitly who will be affected by this initiative and how. By identifying potential positive and negative impacts OS will have, the implementation of OS in transport will be more efficient and more responsive to societal and economic expectations.
