The workshop starts with an invited talk, which will provide an overview of the utilisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in diabetes with a particular focus on gestational diabetes. It continues with regular presentations carried out by people from up to six different countries, including UK, Spain, Italy, USA, Switzerland and Colombia. The afternoon is dedicated to strengthening the research relationships within the community. On this occasion, the workshop organization takes a step forward to boost the research community by presenting the website ai4diabetes.org. The purpose of this website is to share the results and advances in the management of diabetes using AI techniques. This will enhance progress in the field by establishing synergies among researchers, as well as being a reference point for various stakeholders including users&#x2019; associations and companies. We therefore warmly invite all researchers working in this field to join.</description><identifier>https://zenodo.org/record/887324</identifier><identifier>10.5281/zenodo.887324</identifier><identifier>oai:zenodo.org:887324</identifier><relation>info:eu-repo/grantAgreement/EC/H2020/689810/</relation><relation>doi:10.5281/zenodo.887323</relation><rights>info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccess</rights><rights>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode</rights><subject>European Union</subject><subject>Horizon 2020</subject><subject>PEPPER</subject><subject>Patient empowerment through predictive personalized decision support</subject><subject>689810</subject><subject>2017-06-24</subject><subject>Artificial Intelligence</subject><subject>Diabetes</subject><title>2nd Workshop on Artificial intelligence for Diabetes (AIME 2017)</title><type>Book:Book</type><type>Book:Book</type><recordID>887324</recordID></dc>
