The focus of this study is to identify the behavior of male employee in big companies in Indonesia related to the risk of HIV/AIDS infections. Because in Indonesia, the reported AIDS cases in male are much higher than in female. The most infected people concentrated primarily among those productive aged (15-49 years). Data for analysis came from 4117 male employee, who participated in 2005 Baseline Survey which conducted in 5 provinces. This survey is collaboration between BPS-Statistics Indonesia and Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, supported by GFATM (Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria). Non hierarchy logistic regression analysis was performed to identify the influence of demographic factor and behavior factor of male employee STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections). Multiplied logistic regression analysis was performed to learn the differences of risk behavior between provinces. The conclusion of this analysis is the risk of male employee of low educated employee to infected STI is 13 times higher than those from high educated, especially for employee aged 15-24 years, married, and used alcohol. Employee aged 15-24 years is more risky to infected STI than those aged 25 years and over and married employee more risky to infected STI than those unmarried. This research suggests that more intensive intervention should address to the company owner/manager, labor union, and The Indonesian Business Association (APINDO) to motivate the implementation of prevention HIV/AIDS in workplace.</description><identifier>http://lontar.ui.ac.id/detail?id=109639</identifier><recordID>109639</recordID></dc>
