Histerektomi adalah pengangkatan sebagian atau seluruh uterus melalui proses
pembedahan Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan kerangka konsep
tentang respon dan koping ibu primipara dan nullipara yang mengalami
histerektomi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan
pendekatan Grounded Theory. Tujuh orang partisipan dalam penelitian ini
didapatkan dengan cara theorical sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
respon ibu primipara yang mengalami histerektomi berupa menolak kehilangan,
tawar – menawar, menerima kehilangan. Mekanisme koping yang digunakan ibu
dalam menjalani proses kehilangan berupa koping yang berfokus pada masalah
dan koping yang berfokus pada emosi. Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi respon
dan koping ibu dalam menjalani proses kehilangan antara lain berupa dukungan
sosial. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran kepada tenaga kesehatan khususnya
perawat mengenai hal – hal yang dialami dan dirasakan oleh ibu yang sedang
berduka karena peristiwa kehilangan terutama yang berkaitan dengan respon dan
koping ibu serta faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhinya.<hr>
<b>ABSTRACT</b><br>
Hysterectomy is a surgical procedure to remove partially or totally the uterus. The aim of this research is to develop conceptual framework of responses and coping of primiparous and nulliparous mother who are experienced hysterectomy. This is a qualitative study using Grounded Theory approach. Seven participants who were joined this study were gained by theoretical sampling method. Result shows that the responses of primiparous and nulliparous mothers who were experienced hysterectomy were avoiding loss, bargaining, and
accepting loss. Coping mechanisms that were used to deal with loss process consisted of problem-focused coping and emotional focused coping. One factors that affecting mothers’ responses and coping to deal with loss process was social support. This research describes things that are experienced and felt by grieving mothers because of loss process that was mainly related to mothers’ responses and coping
and its influence factors to health care providers mainly nurses.</description><identifier>https://lib.ui.ac.id/detail?id=125531</identifier><recordID>125531</recordID></dc>
