- [<b>ABTRAK</b><br> Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kriteria dan indikator nilai penting atau signifikansi cagar budaya. Kriteria dan indikator tersebut diperoleh dengan mengacu pada pendapat para peneliti Indonesia dan juga ketentuan-ketentuan asing. Metode penilaian yang digunakan adalah metode penilaian kualitatif dengan menggunakan symbol ?v? jika suatu kriteria terpenuhi, dan symbol "-" jika suatu kriteria dianggap belum atau tidak terpenuhi. Skala pengukuran signifikansi nilai menggunakan skala wilayah administrasi yang berlaku sesuai dengan ketentuan UU No. 11 Tahun 2010 tentang Cagar Budaya, yaitu kota/kabupaten, provinsi, dan nasional. Kesimpulan penilaian diambil dengan membandingkan jumlah kriteria nilai yang terpenuhi dari setiap skala penilaian. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan Istana Maimun untuk menjadi cagar budaya provinsi, karena signifikansinya lebih mewakili kepentingan wilayah provinsi. <hr> <b>ABSTRACT</b><br> This thesis discusses about criteria and indicators of the importance or significance of cultural heritage. Criteria and indicators are obtained by referring to the opinion of the Indonesian researchers and foreign terms. This thesis used qualitative assessment method by puting symbol "v" if the criteria is fulfill, and the symbol "-" if the criteria aren't or not considered yet. Significance of the measurement scale using the scale of the administrative procedures in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 11 of 2010 about Cultural Heritage, the city/county, provincial, and national levels. Conclusions drawn by comparing the number of assessment criteria is met the value of each rating scale. The study was a descriptive qualitative research design.
