Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif eksplanasi, dengan melibatkan 86 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Kuisioner yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner tertutup dengan menggunakan skala likert. Kuisioner telah diuji validitas dan realibilitasnya dengan teknik pearson product moment dan teknik cronbach alpha.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat komitmen pegawai ANRI berada pada tingkat sedang atau cukup baik. Iklim komunikasi organisasi secara parsial memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Motivasi kerja secara parsial memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi. Iklim komunikasi organisasi dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi.
Penelitian diharapkan dapat memperkaya hasil-hasil penelitian mengenai komitmen organisasi khususnya di sektor publik. Untuk Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan menggunakan metode eksploratif guna mengetahui secara mendalam faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi pegawai di sektor publik.

This research was aim to determine the influence of work motivation and organizational communication climate on organizational commitment of National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) employees. The research was conducted at the ANRI, in April to May 2012.
The method used in this study was a quantitative explanation, involving 86 randomly selected respondents. The questionnaire used in this study were covered by the questionnaire using Likert scale. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire tested with Pearson product moment technique and the cronbach alpha technique.
The results showed that the level of employee commitment ANRI were at moderate. Partially, organizational communication climate and work motivation had a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. Simultaneously, organizational communication climate and work motivation had a positive and significant impact on organizational commitment.
The study was expected to enrich the results of research on organizational commitment, especially in the public sector. Further research was recommended to use exploratory methods to know in depth what factors are affecting the organizational commitment of employees in the public sector.</description><identifier>https://lib.ui.ac.id/detail?id=20313832</identifier><recordID>20313832</recordID></dc>
