Skripsi ini membahas lembaga sensor film di Indonesia pada masa Orde Baru (BSF) yang lahir pada 1965, tetapi kinerjanya baru disahkan pada 1967. Lembaga ini muncul pada masa peralihan antara Orde Lama menuju Orde Baru dengan sistem penyensoran yang berbeda. Lembaga yang disahkan menjadi lembaga sensor pemerintah pada 1973 ini mencegah keberadaan film yang dapat membahayakan masyarakat dan negara. Berbagai respon datang kepada BSF yang sebagian menyatakan setuju terhadap kinerja BSF dan yang lain tidak. Muncullah UU Perfilman 1992 dan Peraturan Pemerintah No.7 tentang LSF sebagai solusi untuk mengurangi masalah perfilman nasional yang menyangkut dengan penyensoran.

<b>ABSTRACT</b><br>
This thesis explains film censorship in Indonesia on New Order Regime (BSF) which was born on 1965 but start legalized on 1967. This institution was formed between two regimes, are Old Order and New Order which both had different rules of censoring film. BSF became film censorship institution of government on 1973. It prevented showing film which threatened public and country. BSF got many responses which some were agree with BSF activity and the others not. Film constitution on 1992 and Government Rule on 1994 are solutions to decrease the problem of national film industry especially about censorship.</description><subject>Censorship.</subject><identifier>20388450</identifier><source>http://lib.ui.ac.id/file?file=digital/2015-8/20388450-S57655-Djuliana.pdf</source><recordID>20388450</recordID></dc>
