Melalui metode tersebut diharapkan dapat menggambarkan upaya revitalisasi pengawas sekolah dalam penjaminan dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di kota Cirebon. Analisa penelitian melalui 3 (tiga) pendekatan, yaitu pencapaian fokus pasar, penciptaan bisnis baru dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa revitalisasi pengawas sekolah dalam upaya penjaminan dan peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kota Cirebon yang meliputi : (a) struktur organisasi pengawas sekolah, (b) pola rekrutmen pengawas sekolah, (c) kualifikasi dan kompetensi pengawas sekolah, (d) kemitraan pengawas sekolah dan (e) kinerja pengawas sekolah belum terlaksana secara optimal. Optimalisasi revitalisasi dapat dilakukan dengan cara: (a) reposisi pengawas sekolah ke UPTD Pendidikan di tiap Kecamatan, (b) regulasi tentang pengalokasian dana bagi pengawas sekolah, (c) menjalin kemitraan dengan LPTK dan LP2KS/PS., (d) pemanfaatan TIK dalam sistem kerja pengawas sekolah. &lt;hr&gt; &lt;b&gt;ABSTRACT&lt;/b&gt; The research problem of this study is &#x201C;How to revitalize school supervisor in the effort to support and increse the educational quality of Cirebon city?&#x201D; This study is applied using post positivist approach in qualitative descriptive method. Through this method, it is hoped to describe the effort to revitalize the school supervisor in supporting and increasing educational quality of Cirebon city. The analysis of this study is through three approaches, namely, market focus achievement, new-business creation, and information technology usage. The result of the study concludes that school supervisor revitalization in supporting and increasing educational quality in Cirebon city consists of: a) organizational structure of school supervisor, (b) recruitment system of school supervisor, (c) qualification and competency of school supervisor, (d) school supervisor exchange program, and (e) school supervisor performance is not held in maximum way. Optimum revitalization could be done through: (a) school supervisor reposition to educational district unit (UPTD Pendidikan) in every District, (b) regulation about budgeting for school supervisor, (c) collaboration among educational technique agency (LPTK) and LP2KS/PS., (d) utilization of information and communication technology towards the school supervisor working system.</description><subject>Educational planning</subject><identifier>20348710</identifier><source>http://lib.ui.ac.id/file?file=digital/20348710-T35486-Hendri Gunawan.pdf</source><recordID>20348710</recordID></dc>
