Pemberian ASI eksklusif mencegah kematian Balita sebanyak 13 %. Berdasarkan data Puskesmas Tomoni tahun 2011 pencapaian ASI eksklusif sebesar 13,3 %, lebih rendah dari target Depkes RI yaitu 80 %. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diketahuinya gambaran dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 127 orang ibu yang memiliki bayi berusia 6-12 bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa umur, pendidikan, pemeriksa kehamilan, penolong persalinan, dukungan petugas kesehatan tidak berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif sedangkan yang berhubungan adalah pekerjaan, pengetahuan, dukungan keluarga.Pentingnya peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan dukungan dari semua pihak agar perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif lebih ditingkatkan lagi., Exclusive breastfeeding is breastfeeding only since born until age sixth month with no additional foods and fluid. Exclusive breastfeeding can prevent the toddler&#x2019;s death as much 13%. Based on data from the 2011 Tomoni health Center achievement of exclusive breastfeeding 13,3% compared to the Depkes, the target of 80%. The purpose of this study is known characteristic factors associated with Exclusive Breastfeeding. The study design was cross sectional a sampel of 127 mothers with babies aged 6-12 months . The results showed that age, education, pregnancy supervisor, helper labor, health staff support are not related to the Exclusive Breastfeeding, but the job, knowledge, attitudes and family support are related.
