Pengendalian persediaan di suatu perusahaan adalah penting, persediaan adalah salah satu asset yang sangat mahal dalam suatu perusahaan, biasanya sekitar 40% dari total investasi. Penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh model persedian barang MRO dalam upaya penurunan biaya persediaan menggunakan sistem Min-Max dengan metode peramalan Croston dan Single Exponential Smoothing. Metode peramalan Croston diperuntukan bagi permintaan yang berpola lumpy, sedangkan Single Exponential Smoothing untuk permintaan yang berpola regular. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah jumlah pesan ekonomis, reorder point quantity (ROP), persediaan pengaman, serta tingkat persediaan maksimum. Dari 15 barang contoh yang diteliti, diperoleh kenaikan service level rata-rata dari 93% menjadi 96%.

Invetory control is one of important thing in company, inventory is expensive asset, usually abount 40% of the total investment. This study is to obtain a model MRO inventory in effort to decrease total cost of inventory using Min-Max system with Croston and Single Exponential Smoothing foscase methods. Croston forecasting method intended for lumpy demand pattern, while Single Exponential Smoothing is for a regular demand pattern.
