Lebih khusus lagi, penelitian ini mengungkapkan bagaimana respon tersebut diwujudkan dalam tindakan perlawanan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan ke hadapan publik luas. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, ditemukan berbagai perlawanan bergaya Scottian yang sifatnya terselubung, anonim, perorangan, tak terkoordinasi dan tanpa perencanaan. Sementara itu, perlawanan yang ditunjukkan ke hadapan publik luas merupakan perlawanan yang terbuka, konfrontatif, dan terorganisir yang terbentuk melalui proses artikulasi kolaborasi dengan pihak-pihak lain. Penelitian berperspektif politik ekologi ini menempatkan perlawanan Orang Rimba sebagai wujud dari kekuasaan yang digunakan sebagai strategi dalam usaha mencapai tujuan. Dengan demikian Orang Rimba diperlihatkan sebagai komunitas yang memiliki kuasa dan berdaya untuk tidak begitu saja menerima internalisasi nilai-nilai, gagasan-gagasan, serta praktek-praktek penguasaan pihak-pihak lain yang berkepentingan dengan konservasi dan perlindungan alam, misalnya negara atau Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat. &lt;hr&gt; &lt;b&gt;ABSTRACT&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt; This ethnographic research try to describe response of the Orang Rimba community to the zoning policy of Bukit Dua Belas National Park in Jambi. Specifically, how their responses are actualized as resistance form in their daily life and to the wider society. In the daily life, the resistance is articulated in Scottian form as a silent and veiled resistance, anonymous, individually, and not formally organized. In the other hand, the Orang Rimba also perform a non Scottian resistance as a result of articulation and collaboration with other parties. This kind of resistance are confrontative and organized. With its perspective of political ecology, the research describe that the resistance actions are their actualization of power using as a strategy in order to achieve their objectives.
