FENOMENA PENGEMIS ANAK DI PASAR KLEWER SURAKARTA (Studi Tentang Fenomena Akses Layanan Pendidikan Pengemis Anak)

The purpose of this research was to find out (1) the perception of child beggars in begging among Klewer Market Surakarta. (2) the factors that affect children become beggars in Klewer Market Surakarta. (3) the impact of the activities carried out by begging children Klewer Market Surakarta This study used a qualitative descriptive approach to the type of phenomenology. Techniques using purposive sampling and snowball. While data collection techniques performed by in-depth interviews, observation and study documentation passive. To test the validity of using triangulation of data sources and triangulation methods. Analysis of the data using the interactive model of data reduction phase, the presentation of the data, drawing conclusions and verification. Considering the result of research: (1) Perception of child beggars begging on three activities. Including child beggars can earn money, can play the sidelines begging activities and child beggars begging activities undertaken to assist their parents. (2) Factors affecting children begging activity there are four. First, because of the favorable earnings begging. Second, is the lifestyle demands that include diet, fashion, and ownership of electronic stuffs. Third, the absence of rules that prohibit beggars around the market. Fourth, the attitude of the security market and traders seemed to allow and accept the existence of beggars who are around the market. (3) The negative impact begging activities undertaken by children is child feel embarrassed or insecure when met with his school friends and activities can lead to child beggars begging to feel addicted. While the positive impact of child beggars are begging for a child can save / set aside income and able to meet the needs of children, such as school needs pocket money, pocket money needs, and the needs of school equipment.
