Penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif dan induktif. Dengan menggunakan data penel dengan mengolah data menggunakan aplikasi Eviews 9. Melaui pemilihan model data panel yaitu Uji Chow dan Uji Hausman. Selanjutnya, melakukan uji hipotetis data panel. Model yang dipilih adalah Common Effect didapatkan dalam Uji Chow. Maka didapatkan hasil bahwa Indeks Pembangunan Manusia dan Kemiskinan memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten dan Kota di Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tahun 2018-2022. Kata Kunci: Indeks Pembangunan Manusia; Kemiskinan; Pertumbuhan Ekonomi. &amp;nbsp; Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the poverty level and human development index on economic growth in the North Sumatra region. This research is descriptive and inductive. By using panel data by processing the data using the Eviews 9 application. Through selecting panel data models, namely the Chow Test and the Hausman Test. Next, carry out a hypothetical panel data test. The model chosen is the Common Effect obtained in the Chow Test. So the results obtained were that the Human Development and Poverty Index had a negative influence on Economic Growth in Districts and Cities in North Sumatra Province in 2018-2022.
