The results of this study are: First, the homeroom teacher's strategy in overcoming learning difficulties is to provide motivation to students, provide training, when there are only a few students who do not understand, the homeroom teacher explains again using a personal approach or can be called one by one, and provides special time during recess to students who have learning difficulties, namely reading. Second, the inhibiting and supporting factors, the supporting factors are from the students' parents, within the students themselves where students are very enthusiastic in carrying out reading guidance during recess. Inhibiting factors are students who do not attend school, lack of adequate facilities, and friends outside of school or the surrounding environment. Third, the influence of the role of the guardian is parents who encourage by motivating students at home while the homeroom teacher controls all students' understanding at school. So the homeroom teacher has a bigger role. &amp;nbsp; Keywords:Strategies, &amp;nbsp;homeroom teacher, learning difficulties</description><description lang="id-ID">Abstrak Penelitian strategi wali kelas dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas II di SDI Al-Furqon menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, strategi wali kelas dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar adalah memberikan motivasi kepada siswa, memberikan latihan, ketika tinggal sedikit siswa yang tidak paham, wali kelas menerangkan kembali menggunakan pendekatan personal atau bisa di sebut one by one, serta memberikan waktu khusus pada saat jam istirahat kepada siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar yaitu membaca. Kedua, faktor penghambat dan pendukung, faktor pendukung adalah dari orang tua siswa, dalam diri siswa sendiri dimana siswa sangat semangat dalam melakukan bimbingan membaca pada saat jam istirahat. Faktor penghambat adalah siswa yang tidak masuk ke sekolah, kurangnya fasilitas yang memadai, dan teman luar sekolah atau lingkungan sekitar. Ketiga, pengaruh peran wali adalah orang tua yang menyemangatkan dengan cara memberikan motivasi siswa di rumahnya sedangkan wali kelas yang mengontrol semua pemahaman siswa di sekolah. Jadi wali kelas mempenyai peran yang lebih besar. Abstrak Penelitian strategi wali kelas dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa kelas II di SDI Al-Furqon menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif.
