This quasi-research is an experimental study with a non-equivalent control-group design. The population in this study were all MTs students. Al Hidayah took two groups with different classes (experimental group and control group). The experimental group received the sociodrama technique, and the control group used ordinary guidance. The instruments used in this study were achievement motivation instruments, observations and interviews with teachers and students to determine student achievement motivation in the experimental class. To see the increase in student achievement motivation using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05 after the test requirements are met. The increase in student achievement motivation in the experimental group with a mean of 125.23 was higher than in the control group, which was given regular group guidance. With a par of 117.45 (3), This increase was obtained after using the t-test with the resulting p-value (2-tailed) = 0.04, then the p-value is smaller than the value of 0.05. Then the hypothesis is rejected.
