- The purpose of this study is to understand and describe: career choices after the termination of employment due to the impact of Covid-19 on the people of Bendo Village, Kapas District, Bojonegoro Regency. The research method used is qualitative. The research subjects are informants who are clear about their duties and functions and can provide accurate and significant information regarding career choices after the termination of employment. Determination of the informants by way of purposive sampling (sample aims). Based on the study results of the 3 Bendo villagers who were laid off due to the Covid-19 outbreak, 2 of them chose a career as freelance workers which fell into the category of the Savickas career adaptation theory dimension. In contrast, one person decided to wait for more promising job opportunities ( first unemployed) rather than being a freelancer (casual), where this career choice is included in the category of the dimensions of Savickas's career personality theory. The conclusion is that every career choice an individual makes can be described and grouped according to Savickas' career constructivist theory, which is divided into four dimensions: personality dimensions, development, adaptation and lifestyle (lifestyle).
