The Covid-19 pandemic is a health problem due to high morbidity and mortality cases. The purpose of the study was to describe student knowledge about Covid-19 at the Helvetia Midwifery Academy Pekanbaru. This type of research was a quantitative analytic descriptive design. The population in this study was 122 female students with a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire sheet and analyzed univariately. The results showed that the majority of Helvetia Midwifery Academy students' knowledge about Covid-19 was 66.4% less. This study found that there were still many female students who had less knowledge about Covid-19, especially in terms of maintaining distance. Respondents are expected to increase their knowledge by reading, finding out, and following the development of information related to Covid-19 on trusted social media in order to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19.</description><description lang="id-ID">ABSTRAK

Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau disebut COVID-19 yang menjadi Kegawatdaruratan Kesehatan Masyarakat adalah virus jenis baru yang belum pernah diidentifikasi sebelumnya pada manusia dan belum diketahui&nbsp; penularnya. Pandemi COVID-19 merupakan masalah kesehatan diakibatkan tingginya kasus kesakitan dan kematian. Tujuan penelitian untuk untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang COVID-19 di Akademi Kebidanan Helvetia Pekanbaru Tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian analitik kuantitatif desain deskriptif. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 122 orang mahasiswi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mayoritas pengetahuan mahasiswi Akademi Kebidanan Helvetia tentang COVID-19 kurang sebanyak 81 orang (66,4 %). Responden diharapkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dengan cara membaca, mencari tahu serta mengikuti perkembangan informasi terkait COVID-19 di media sosial yang terpercaya, agar dapat memutuskan rantai penularan COVID-19.
