Besides being a natural bulwark against storms and ocean waves, mangroves are unique in their ability to absorb and store carbon dioxide in their biomass and mud soil. Meanwhile, seagrass beds support the sustainability of coastal ecosystems and act as sinks for substantial marine carbon. Logging or damaging these ecosystems can result in massive releases of carbon, exacerbating climate change. Therefore, the conservation and restoration of mangroves and seagrass beds through research methods and sustainable policy implementation is essential to maintain global environmental sustainability and mitigate the impacts of climate change.</description><publisher lang="en-US">The Indonesian Institute of Science and Technology Research</publisher><date>2024-02-18</date><type>Journal:Article</type><type>Other:info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion</type><type>Journal:Article</type><type>File:application/pdf</type><identifier>https://journal.iistr.org/index.php/BST/article/view/509</identifier><identifier>10.56741/bst.v3i01.509</identifier><source lang="en-US">Bincang Sains dan Teknologi; Vol. 3 No. 01 (2024): Bincang Sains dan Teknologi; 25-33</source><source>2961-8746</source><source>2961-8932</source><source>10.56741/bst.v3i01</source><language>eng</language><relation>https://journal.iistr.org/index.php/BST/article/view/509/401</relation><rights lang="en-US">Copyright (c) 2024 Alwida Abdurahman Alih, Zuraida Julhiji Bara</rights><rights lang="en-US">https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0</rights><recordID>article-509</recordID></dc>
