Dosen merupakan bagian dari Institut yang memiliki peranan penting dalam pencapaian tujuan Institut. Tujuan tersebut akan tercapai apabila didukung produktivitas yang tinggi dari para dosen. Penelitian ini membahas tentang usulan peningkatan employee engagement pada dosen. Penelitian diawali dengan melakukan pengukuran employee engagement berdasarkan Development Dimension International (DDI) dan National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST). Jumlah sampel penelitian adalah 74 dosen tetap Itenas. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh nilai indeks employee engagement sebesar 2,85 yang menunjukkan para dosen belum mencapai tingkat engaged. Item employee engagement dengan nilai indeks terendah adalah mengenai pertanggungjawaban dan umpan balik dari hasil pekerjaan. Usulan untuk peningkatan employee engagement terkait kedua item tersebut adalah mengevaluasi sistem penilaian kinerja dan adanya pemberian reward untuk dosen-dosen yang memiliki prestasi. Lecturers are parts of the Institute who have important role in achieving the objectives of the Institute. These objectives will be achieved if it supports a high productivity of the lecturer. This study discusses about the proposed increase in employee engagement on lecturer. This study begins by measuring employee engagement by Development Dimension International (DDI) and the National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST). The number of samples were 74 samples where the respondent is a permanent lecturer in Itenas. Based on the results obtained data processing employee engagement index score of 2.85 which indicates the faculty has not reached the level of engaged. Employee engagement items with the lowest index value is about accountability and feedback from the job. The proposal related to an increase in employee engagement both items are evaluating the performance appraisal system and the presence of the reward system for lecturer who have achievements.
