Utilizing of resin-granite composite is needed to developed, for example is used for shoe brake of train. High bending strength is needed so that the composite is not fail. One of the method to increase the bending strength of the composite is by adding of the strengthener to the composite. The aim of this research was to find the data of bending strength of resin-granite composite which was added with steel wire as a strengthener. Resin was mixed with 0.5 mm diameter and 10 mm length of steel wire, and granite powder that had the size of +150/-212 &#xB5;m. There were five kinds of the volume ratio of the mixtures of steel wire, resin, and granite powder i.e (1:30:6), (1:30:9), (1:30:12), (1:30:15), and (1:30:18).
