The NAHD and CTS bonding was carried out by reflux process with methanol as solvent producing propiltrimethoxysilanesulfonat filtrate. This propiltrimethoxysilanesulfonat filtrate is then added to sodium silicate solution produced from rice hull ash that was extract with sodium hydroxide solution, and then was given hydrochloric acid until pH=7, produced Disulfonato-Silica Hybrid (DSSH). The DSSH was used to adsorp Ca(II), Cd(II), and Cu(II) metal ions.
