  • In the history of Islamic law differences of opinion in matters of law have never been lost and continue to develop among the ulamas and the fuqaha. The pros and cons are normal, and even considered as a mercy in Islam. Differences of opinion and khilafiah in the field of law do not make Islamic law stop, Muslims can choose among the opinions of scholars who exist as the opinion of the imam of the school. This research relates to the phenomenon of the re-actualization of Islamic law through ijtihad and qurani approaches. It turns out that it is possible and expected that Islamic law will remain actual, dynamic, applicable and in accordance with the development and progress of human civilization. Although differences in understanding and khilafiah in legal issues cannot be avoided, human reason plays an active role in establishing a legal product.
