Kemampuan komunikasi tertulis yang dimaksud adalah kemampuan membaca tabel dan grafik, membuat tabel dan grafik dan menjelaskan hasil praktikum. Kemampuan komunikasi ini diukur dengan menggunakan tes pasca praktikum, suatu tes yang didesain oleh guru / penguji untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa yang diinginkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi tertulis siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan motede deskriptif dengan dua kelas IPA sebagai kelas sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu tes uraian tertulis, angket dan wawancara, serta studi pustaka untuk menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh peneliti, keseluruhan keterampilan komunikasi tertulis siswa kelas A memperoleh nilai 53.12 % dan kelas B memperoleh nilai 48,68 %. Kedua nilai masih masuk dalam kategori kurang sekali berdasarkan tabel kategori kemampuan komunikasi yang dirumuskan Purwanto (2006). Tidak ada ada kemampuan yang termasuk dalam bagian keterampilan komunikasi siswa yang masuk dalam kategori baik. Siswa sangat kurang pengetahuan mengenai keterampilan komunikasi tertulis. Kemampuan siswa dalam membaca grafik saja masih rendah, sama halnya dengan kemampuan siswa dalam membuat grafik. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara diketahui bahwa siswa masih belum dikenalkan lebih jauh dengan keterampilan komunikasi tertulis.&#xD; Kata kunci : Kemampuan Komunikasi Tertulis, Tes Pasca Praktikum&#xD; &#xD; Research titled "Communication Skills Profiles of students through Practical Post Test In System Excretion" formulate some issues regarding written communication skills of students. Written communication skills is the ability to read tables and graphs, creating tables and graphs and explain lab results. This communications capability measured using post-lab tests, a test that was designed by the teacher / tester to measure the ability of students to be desired. The purpose of this study to determine how the high school students' written communication skills. This study uses a descriptive mothod with data collection techniques are written description test, questionnaires and interviews, as well as literature to answer the formulation of research problems. Overall the data are obtained either directly on the ground or through the study of literature subsequently arranged systematically in accordance with the rules of skripsi writing. Based on the data obtained by the researcher, the overall written communication skills of students still in the category of less than once. There is no capability included in the section communication skills of students who fall into both categories. Students are very less knowledge about written communication skills. Students' skills in reading graphs are still low, as well as the ability of students to create a graph.
