- The Central Library of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, obtained in 2009 the certificate of universal accessibility in conformity with the norm UNE 170001-2: 2007 " Universal Accessibility, part 2: system of management of accessibility ". In this communication we present the steps crossed by the Library to obtain the above mentioned certification, from the beginnings in 2005 with the diagnosis of the integral accessibility of the University up to the implantation of the integrated system of management of the accessibility. The actions realized includes four main areas: to make the building accessible, technical acquired helps, training library staff and to implement a system of management of the incidents of accessibility.
