- This paper will explain briefly about the library's based management information technology. The use of information technology in the purposeful library to increase work efficiency and the quality of the service to the user (right information, right user and right now). The discussion scope in this paper among them concerning the understanding of the library and information technology, the change in the library's paradigm, the function of the application of information technology in the library, the evaluation of the requirement for the library's information technology, library and librarian competence in the application of information technology, and the application of the based system of the library's information technology.
