The failure of distributing these tablets in this district can bring about the increase of anemia prevalence. However, there were no concrate data of anemia in the pregnant mothers, compliance to consume Fe tablets. One of the reasons was that the system of monitoring, recording and reporting by the health officials in the consumption of Fe tablets and in the routine checking of Hb content was not good enough. This research was aimed to analyze the influence of the head officials role (costumers, communicators, motivators, facilitators and counselors) on the pregnant mothers complience to consum Fe tablets in Aceh Besar District in 2009. The type of the research was the prospective cohort research. The population was all pregnant mothers in the area of Aceh Besar District and they had already done health visit in the Public Health Center. The method of ghatering the data was by interviewing and checking the health progress of the pregnant mothers with Editing, Coding, Entry and Cleaning. The data were analyzed in univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The result of the multivariate research showed that the variable which had significant imfluence on the complience to consume Fe tablets was customer variable and facilitator. The customer variable had the biggest influence on the complience to consume Fe tablets with the value of OR = 0.224 which indicated that the mothers acceptance of the head officials customer was good, and thus they were ready to consume Fe tablets 0,242 times (95% CI 0,083 &#x2013; 0,704), compared with those who did not get the health officials customer. It was suggested that the Pulic Health Center should distribute Fe tablets free of charge and which was in line with the goverment program : 30 tablets per visit or 90 tablets during the pregnancy. It was also suggested that the health officials should improve their role in monitoring, recording, and reporting the complience of the pregnant mothers to consume Fe tablets.</description><description>077033022</description><contributor>Aritonang, Evawany Y</contributor><contributor>Syarifah</contributor><date>2010-12-17T03:20:57Z</date><date>2010-12-17T03:20:57Z</date><date>2010-12-17</date><type>Thesis:Masters</type><identifier>Franz</identifier><identifier>http://repository.usu.ac.id/handle/123456789/21310</identifier><language>ind</language><recordID>123456789-21310</recordID></dc>
