- Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is a program that made workers and employers as an effort to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases by recognizing the potential for accidents and occupational diseases as well as anticipatory action in case of accidents and occupational diseases. The goal is to create a safe workplace, healthy so it can suppress the lowest possible risk of accidents and illnesses. Level of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) in PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) Kuala Tanjung still often overlooked. This is indicated by the still high number of accidents occurring on company PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium. This situation will impact on the company's performance. Based on a brief description, then formulated the problem in this study is "What is Occupational Health and Safety (K3) and work environment affect the performance of employees of PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) Kuala Tanjung ". The theory used in this study was the theories of Human Resource Management, relating to the Occupational Health and Safety (K3), work environment and performance. The method used in this study is a survey approach, this kind of research is descriptive quantitative, and the nature of this research is the explanation. Methods of data collection is done by interviews, questionnaires and documentation study. Methods of data analysis used is multiple regression. Population is an employee of PT. Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) Kuala Tanjung, amounting to 91 people. Determination of the sample in this study using Stratified Random Sampling. Results showed that simultaneously knowable Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Work Environment And very significant effect (high significant) on the performance of employees of PT Inalum Kuala Tanjung. It gives the sense that the safety and occupational health and working environment is crucial in improving the performance of employees at PT Inalum Kuala Tanjung. That is, PT Inalum Kuala Tanjung always consider the implementation of occupational health and safety and working environment in improving the performance of employees at PT Inalum Kuala Tanjung.
