- This research is aim to to know activity from leaf extract and mengkudu fruit (M L citrifolia.) to tritip caterpillar ( P. xylostella L.). This Research is executed on Laboratory Pest Plant Faculty Of Agriculture University North Sumatra with height + 25 metre highland and was done on April - May 2005. This research use Factorial Complete Random Device with 2 Factor that is DB (Extract Leaf and Mengkudu fruit) and K ( Concentration). Consist with 6 treatment and 4 replicates. That is DK1 ( Extract Leaf Mengkudu with Concentration 35 cc/1), DK2 (Extract Leaf Mengkudu with Concentration 35 cc / 1), DK3 ( Extract Mengkudu with Concentration 50 cc /1), BK1 ( Extract Fruit Mengkudu with Concentration 20 cc / 1), BK2 ( Extract Leaf Mengkudu with Concentration 35 cc / 1), and BK3 ( Extract Leaf Mengkudu with Concentration 50 cc /1). Parameter are Mortality of Larva (%), Eat Willingness (%), L and Larva Become Pupa (%). This Research get result that is treatment of extract of leaf and fruit extract Mengkudu hod no influence on mortality of larvae (%) and larva become pupa (%). But had influence on Different concentrate (%). On concentrare 20 cc/1 (Kl) can kill the larvae 32,50%, on concentrate 35 cc/1 can kill the larvae 53,75 %. On concentrates 50 cc/1 can kill larvae 67,50 %. Larvae become pupae (%) effect on reality 67,50 % (Kl), 46,26 % (K2) and 32,50 % (K3). On eat willingness, extract of leaf and fruit of M. citrifolia and had no influence.
